Great formula on both. I’m trying to get all vintage vixens swatched asap, so I can start with OPIs Swiss collection as soon as I get them (which should be tomorrow), and you know what? Next week, I’ll hopefully be able to show you OPIs new Burlesque collection! .D I’m so excited!

Ahem. The polish is almost as good as the song. This is China Glaze 2NITE

Pretty good application but it has that holo formula problem, you have to be careful while painting so you don’t get bald spots. I think I like the OMG! collection more than the kaleidoscope. For some reason I don’t feel as white trash with this smaller holo particles.

My first zoyas

Yep, that’s right. My very first zoyas. The whole sparkle collection. Not that I like all the colors, but I’ve told you, Gotta catch’em all! I bought them from nailetc, my first order from them actually. It took a while for the package to get here, that’s a minus for sure, but the price is ok (on zoya at least) and shipping rate is ok too, so I’m not really complaining. Now I know where I’m going to buy my zoyas! I need more zoyas. Like the Reverie collection. And wicked. (why don’t I ever feel the urge to get a collection containing all cremes, except if it’s china glaze?)

Ok, I’m going to be brutally honest, I didn’t even try to get good pics this time. I bet you have seen both bottle pictures and swatches of these a hundred times already.

Ok, I wasn’t supposed to buy more polish in a while, but then suddenly 8ty8 had some of the china glaze kaleidoscope and I realised that if I didn’t buy them now, god nows when I would be able to again. But before I show you the awful cell phone pics of my newly acquired family members, I need some help. Someone did a post mentioning a Spanish brand that had made some holographic polishes. Who? And most importantly, what brand? I neeeeed to know! They looked really cool. I have to admit, I’m a holo ho, and I neeedz those polishes. Well, onto the pics

Ok, so I apologize for the crappy pics. I got myself a new computer yesterday, and it doesn’t have a compact flash reader, so I can’t transfer my photos from my DSLR to it, and my old computer is dead. Until I get myself a cf-reader, I will use my mobile camera. I hate that, but it’s better than nothing, right? And it’s not all that bad. It could be worse ^^ Oh, and I haven’t got photoshop on this computer yet so no pics will be color corrected for a while. Haha, oh, I really hope you will still like me after this ,D

Well, um, sorry for the lack of posts lately. I’ve had no inspiration, specially when I had to file my nails down to nothing. And I have started to work. 3-4 hours 3 times a week. I know, for most of you it sounds like nothing. But for me, it’s a huge thing and something I have to struggle to do. Fortunately the woman I work for is very understanding, like today when I overslept and woke up 40 minutes after I should have been there, and she said I could come tomorrow instead .D

Today I swatched my four polishes from LA Colors, enjoy!

Electric Charge. A light/medium pink creme.

Fuel. Pink with a purple/blue flash and tiiiny tiny sparse silver particles.

Fiji Purple. This one dries kind of satin. This is three coats but you could get away with two.

Radiation. Blue/green shimmer. This is four coats I think, it’s quite sheer.

Alkaline blue & Deep sea mica

Alkaline Blue. AWESOME. Just… awesome.

Deep Sea Mica.

The formula on these two aren’t the same as the ones I’ve swatched before this. They’re not bad, just.. different (or, maybe, the others are different, these are more like any other polish). And a little bit sheerer (but not sheer), these needed 3 coats instead of 2.

I had to file my nails down today .(( Several of them had started to split/peel so I really had no choice. So expect pics of super nubbins in the near future.
