I hope you haven’t forgotten me, but I understand if you have. After a long long time I finally feel like blogging again. I’ve done some blogging during the year (like, 10 posts maybe, but not about nail polish…), at krex.se, where I will continue to blog. Yes, I will leave nails.krex.se! If you want to follow me you have to go there instead. Almost all my posts there are gone now though, since they were in swedish and I plan to blog in english from now on. I have to warn you, I will not only blog about nail polish, but also make up, clothes, health and other things in my life and stuff I feel is important. Like raw chocolate. I really hope I will see you there!

… to why I haven’t been posting. First of all, I started working at a warehouse, and as you might guess, having anything else but super short nails isn’t an option. Which makes me not that inspired to even wear nail polish, and even less taking photos of it. Second, I am so damn tired. And I think I have a new depression coming, because I have no interest in anything anymore. If this weren’t enough, I have no money to buy new polish. I have barely so I can eat. I’m still losing weight each month because I’m so poor, haha! I’m so tragic.

If you can stand photos of my horribly shaped nubbins, I might try to get some inspiration to do some posts.

Oh, and thank you for all the lovely awards given to me! It made me happy. You guys are so nice.

Spiezia facial starter set review

First I’d like to thank you all for your foot care tips, I will try them out asap .)

In the middle of August I bought a facial starter set from Spiezia, and I decided to do a short review since some of you were interested. Spiezia makes organic and natural skin care products.

The facial starter set contains a facial cleanser, a gentle face scrub, a toner, a face oil and a more nourishing moisturizer. Everything except the toner is pretty much oils. I guess they are based on the oil cleansing method. The overall conclusion is that I like it. A lot. Everything smells sooo good and it feels nice to be using natural products. Until a few days ago, I never wanted to use anything else again! But, I have really dry skin. During the summer months it is almost normal, when autumn comes though, it starts to get crazy dry. So now my skin needs something with more (extreme) hydrating power.

It took a couple of days for my skin to adjust to all the oils (i.e. it looked very oily) but after that, my skin was soft, radiant, clean and everything nice, and matte! I was totally in love. One thing I really liked was to put the facial cleanser on before showering, the steam from the shower helped to open up the pores so it could do a deep cleansing, and the oil prevented the water to dry my skin out.

I am quite sad to give this up, since I loved it so. I promise you Spiezia, I will come back to you as soon as the weather permits. I would recommend this to everyone that doesn’t have as extremely dry skin as I have. At least try it out, the facial starter set doesn’t cost all too much.

Help my feet!

My poor feet are screaming for help. I’ve never given them enough attention, but now I’ve come to the conclusion that it has to stop. Or rather, begin.

Please give me your best tips for feet care! How do you take care of your feet?

(Btw, sorry for the lack of posts, but I forgot my camera at my mom’s. I’m currently wearing OPI Color So Hot It Berns, and I LOVE IT)

I have a confession to make. I think crackle polish looks really disgusting. I wanted to like it but looking at pictures of it just makes me sick. I don’t really know why. It’s something I’ve inherited from my mother, she is very sensitive to patterns and such.

When I see crackled polish it just makes me think of a nasty skin condition, or an insect. I don’t like insects ,(

The thing about this award is that you are supposed to say what you like about your own blog.

I guess I like mine because… hm. First of all because of the clean and crisp layout, there aren’t so many distractions so you can focus on the pictures. And I like my pictures, well, at least when I have my regular camera. One thing I also like is that it’s not so serious. I just write whatever I like. I don’t feel that I have to write an essay about the polish I’m wearing or that I even have to write anything substantial at all. There are a lot of things I want to (and plan to) improve with my blog, but I love it anyway, and I’m so humbled by the fact that you guys seem to like it as well .)
