Alkaline Blue. AWESOME. Just… awesome.

Deep Sea Mica.

The formula on these two aren’t the same as the ones I’ve swatched before this. They’re not bad, just.. different (or, maybe, the others are different, these are more like any other polish). And a little bit sheerer (but not sheer), these needed 3 coats instead of 2.

I had to file my nails down today .(( Several of them had started to split/peel so I really had no choice. So expect pics of super nubbins in the near future.

Pink Steel. Sorry about the tipwear (but it’s very little…), I put this on friday night and then I was away for the weekend so I didn’t have time to take a picture of it until now. Love this color!

Iron Red. It’s not really that intense red IRL. Maybe it’s a bit on the cool side.

Trilogy & Millennium

There was SUN today! WTF! And just before sun, there was awesome rain, thunder and lightning. Less awesome was that I was on my way home when the rain hit (and I didn’t have my umbrella with me). But I got home ok. Oh, the sweet thunder, it was incredible, usually lightning hits about 1-3 times during a storm, this time it was, hm, maybe 15? AWESOME. I love storms. Well, as long as I am at home, that is.

On to the nail polish! As there was sun, I swatched two of my new LA Girl Metal polishes .D

Trilogy. Kind of a dark plum/burgundy color?

Millennium. A blue toned purple. Awesome!

Both are swatched with two coats and no top coat. I have to say I love the formula on these. Easy to apply and dries pretty fast. You know, I think I really like LA Girl. They make these wonderful collections, like this one and rockstar for example. I hope they will keep it up and I can’t wait to see what their next thing is going to be .D

Today I swatched 3 hot pinks/fuschia/whatever. Why? Don’t know, seemed like fun.

Models Own – Pink Punk. One of those pinks with a blue flash. Nothing out of the ordinary. 3 coats.

Models Own – Bubblegum. Dude, did I just almost capture a neon with my camera?! Cool. I think this is 3 coats. Plus top coat, since it’s a neon it dries matte/satin.

LA Girl – Paparazzi. Aw, I’m so sad I didn’t capture the sparkly sparkles. This one glitters a lot. But it’s quite sheer, this is 4 coats and you still see the nail line. I love it anyway.

I don’t have much to say today, apparently.

Chromium… green?

Today I wanted to wear one of the polishes I got yesterday. I had a hard time deciding, and when I was down to 3 to choose from, I started do google swatches of those to see how they looked on the nails. One of them were LA Girl Metal Chromium Green. Huh? Couldn’t find a single swatch! We can’t have that, can we, so the choice for my notd was pretty simple, because someone needs to put a pic of it out on the world wide web (hehe)! (perhaps there already are, but I just can’t find them)

No… wait… What? Didn’t I say chromium green? Yep, I did. And I promise you that it is green. My camera just happens to hate green, apparently. So, here’s a crazy color corrected pic that shows the real green color.

Even though my camera doesn’t like it, I do. Don’t love it, but like it, enough to want some more from the metal collection. Application was easy, you can get away with two coats, but I did three, plus top coat.

Don’t really know what to say…

…other than thankyouthankyouthankyou! I have seen a lot of people writing about how nice and generous this community is. Now I know what they’re talking about. Sminkan has to be the nicest person on the block! She sent me 14 (yes, fourteen!!) additional polishes. Seriously, I got tears in my eyes when I opened the package. I have a very cynical view on mankind, and this made me believe that there actually still exist some wonderful people out there. I am overwhelmed by the kindness, and so very grateful <3

Seriously, I’m overwhelmed. First I got my package from Cherry Culture. Some hour later my pack with Nfu Ohs arrived. AND THEN one from TD. This is awesome. Unfortunately it’s cloudy but I went ahead and took pictures of the bottles anyway. I have re-taken the photos now, in sunshine! There were so many to photograph so I went with quantity, not quality, heh. Ooohh I’m just so happy, SO MANY POLISHES!!
